This is a very good article. You're exactly right. Many people like the feel of a small business because it is unique and comfortable. That small feeling brings a certain personal quality that larger businesses cannot deliver.

However, there is one problem with such a small feel, and that is in regard to the perception of quality. Many times people will procure the services of the larger business because there is a certain perception of regulation and quality that comes with the larger business. I write a blog about start-up and small businesses too. It's fromthegroundfloor.wordpress.com. I've tried to create a solution to this perception that bigger businesses have better quality services and goods, but I cannot conceive a remedy sufficient to help these small business owners. How do you think small business owners can overcome this perception of poorer quality?

Great Read. When we come across succesful business ideas, many people tend to state that they did think about something similar, but alas did nothing to pursue the idea. Thoughts converted to action is the key.

Did you get a chance to look at http://askthiscfo.wordpress.com. Has a quick read article on the integrated approach also.

Thanks for sharing.

Without the best customer service, online businesses would be nothing. Customers are very important that is why it is our responsibilty as internet marketers to provide the right and proper service to give our customers.

I purchased a pbx subscription through ring central and have been using it for months. I love it! I have had no technical issues and the price is extremely affordable. If you are thinking about virtual pbx I suggest trying out ring central. FYI - they provide a 30 day free-trial so you can test it out for free. You also get a toll-free number when you sign up.

Great suggestions Nat!

A special note on item 3) - The Due Date currently turns red if the current date is past the due date. However, we agree that it would be more helpful to create a separate Over Due Invoice List.

We will add your 3 suggestions to the Future Feature list.

We appreciate your feedback. This is your product, so please keep on letting us know how we can improve our product such that it helps make your your business run more efficiently.

Using the payment feature today and thought that the following might be good features to add: (Let me know what you think fellow service owners)

1. Under paid invoices have a tab where we can search by deposit date. This way we can print a report of all deposits made.

2. A feature where the total amount of all invoices paid, open, etc are displayed at bottom automatically calculating

3. Great feature would be a way to create or have a past due invoice feature that also allows you to list the current invoice amount .
